What it’s about
874 km self-supported over forgotten roads and old tracks of Sardinia. Not a race but an invitation to discover the island away from the postcards.
The site distinguishes between the once-a-year Bikeventure (start 25 April 2027 in Olbia) and the SHARDANA routes you can book all year round (five fixed lengths: 490, 580, 800, 875 and 1,150 km). The site does not say explicitly which of these routes the 2027 Bikeventure uses; earlier information on this was contradictory.
