What it’s about
Rund um Sachsen is a non-competitive bikepacking adventure along the Saxon state border with the Fichtelberg as its high point – either over 900 km and 8,500 m of climbing (“Der Klassiker”) or on the shorter Sachsen 500 route with 500 km and 5,400 m of climbing.
According to the organiser, the shorter Sachsen 500 route (500 km, 5,400 m of climbing) was offered for the first time in 2026.
