At Gravel Around Salzkammergut you ride a loop around the Salzkammergut from St. Georgen im Attergau, either 163 km with 3,000 m of climbing or, including the southern section, 217 km with 3,800 m of climbing, with around 40% gravel. The organiser explicitly calls it not a race but an unsupported gravel event.
The site announces the edition on Saturday 14 August 2027: registration on Friday 13 August 2027 from 17:00 to 20:00, start between 07:00 and 08:00, finishes from 15:00 to 24:00 in St. Georgen im Attergau. Registration opens on 1 October 2026, the field is limited to 300 starters (first come, first served). If you reach Bad Ischl at km 100 after 13:30, you skip the southern section and officially finish on the short route; from 20:00 lights in line with Austrian road traffic regulations are mandatory. No finish cut-off is given on the site. The page title still shows the date of the edition already ridden, 15 August 2026.
