## What it’s about

The BTG route as fast as possible: 1,650 km of MTB bikepacking from Basel to Cape Arkona, fully self-supported and organised online, nothing to win but glory.

2027 date not yet official; aggregators give 3 July 2027 (unconfirmed). The organiser's site (baselona.de) is reachable and shows the route description (1,655 km, 20,000 m of climbing, Basel–Cape Arkona), but no information on date, registration, entry fee or time limit for a 2027 edition; a link “Die Zukunft der BTG” (the future of the BTG) suggests open questions about whether the event will continue. Categories, entry fee and time limit still open.
